After receiving my Teaching degree and Master's degree in Reading from Miami University, I was employed by Lakota Local Schools, West Chester, where I taught first grade until retirement, 2002. I loved teaching and continue to serve several districts as a part-time reading test assessor. My family is life-long Reds and Buckeye fans! We've also had a blast watching our sons, Casey and Cooper, compete on many high school sports teams in Piqua, Ohio, where their father was school Superintendent. All 4 of us are also Miami graduates. Casey, a project manager for the state of Ohio, lives with his wife, Ekta, in Clintonville, and Cooper, a retina eye surgeon, lives in San Antonio. In 2012, Jerry and I moved back to Cincinnati from Piqua. Even after Irma, our favorite place to be is our Naples, Florida home. We enjoy the peace and calm of the beach, blue skies and sun.
